Xbox Live Co-Op Night for May: Halo Wars

May 14th, 2009 at 8:00 Eastern

 

It's time to team up with a friend and take down those covenant bastards in the large scale warfare of Halo Wars for the Xbox 360.  On May 14th, 2009 at 8PM Eastern Co-Optimus will be playing Halo Wars in co-op mode on Xbox Live.  

Looking to join up with co-op players?  Then you'll want to be online too.  To join simply use the in game matchmaking tools to easily find co-op gamers, or send a friend request to cooptimus and utilize the friends of friends feature to find other players looking to play Halo Wars.

The Co-Op Experience Play through the single player campaign with a friend in co-op mode or take on the AI in skirmish.

Each player has control of their own group of troops. Players share the bases, and are responsible for building their own troops from a shared pool of resources.

Each player can build structures and research technology in the bases.

All achievements and progress are shared including skulls, black boxes, and scoring.

YAY! just in time for me a baldy's attack on Halo Wars.

I'd like to request double co-op nights for the summer! Please?

Good thing to note that it is possible to do 3v3 against computer opponents so people don't have to limit themselves to just the Campaign .

Just learned they are also doing the live show on tuesdays, 9pm est.
That 360 bundle isnt too shabby...but Im not going to risk getting trampled...
A few years ago, a neighbor offered my wife a Super Nintendo with five games, all for $25, before it went into their garage sale
Hopefully folks had fun. Got quite a few matches in, but I'm signing off for the night.
