PC Version of Monster Hunter: World Gets a Release Window

Good news? It's this year! Bad news? It's the late part of the year. The frogurt is also cursed...

One of our anticipated co-op titles this year, Monster Hunter: World, arrives on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this month (January 26, to be precise). The title is also getting a PC release, but Capcom hasn't said much about when that version might make its debut. Until now...

Switching It Up Spring 2018

Hyrlue Warriors: Definitive Edition Incoming

An unplanned Nintendo Direct took place last Wednesday morning giving Nintendo a moment in the spotlight to tell gamers everywhere what goodies are in store for them in 2018. One announcement that caught our attention is Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, a Co-Op friendly game in the Legend of Zelda family. This version is coming to Nintendo Switch in Spring of 2018 and includes character skins from the wildly popular (although sadly only single player) Breath of the Wild.

The Cloud Flight soars with stellar wireless performance

HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless Gaming Headset Review

Last week, HyperX released its first wireless headset: the Cloud Flight. Since the company already boasts an impressive selection of gaming headsets, adding a wireless one to the Cloud series makes good sense. Overall, the Cloud Flight is an exciting entry in the Cloud line (and headsets in general) with the kind of quality we’ve come to expect from HyperX.

Returning, at last, to its console roots

Mutant Football League Arrives on PS4 and Xbox One This Month

Last Fall, Mutant Football League made its way onto the PC so that once again players everywhere could main, mutilate, and massacre their opponents while also kind of playing American football. The original Mutant League Football, though, was a Sega Genesis title so while it was heartening to see the spiritual successor get made and released, many were hoping it would find its way onto the current gen consoles. Well, if you can wait just one more week, your wish will be granted.

Portable prison shivs!

The Escapists 2 Is On Its Way To The Nintendo Switch

Breaking out of prison can't be that hard, right?  All you've got to do is grease a few officers' palms, hatch a plan with your closest incarcerated buddies, and create tools out of nothing.  I suppose you also have to work out patrol patterns, subtly lay out the groundwork for your escape route, ensure your clandestine meetings aren't discovered by guards... okay, so maybe it's a little hard.

If, like me, you have fond memories of commanding hordes of the Undead and moving miniatures about on your best friend's dining room table, then you'll likely be excited to hear that the Tomb Kings (the second offshoot from the larger "Undead" category) will be added to Total War: WARHAMMER 2 in January via paid DLC. This is the first new playable race that is getting added to the game after its September release.

Distrust Stream Recap

Game developers often take inspiration for their video games from a variety of sources. In the case of Cheerdealers, who are based out of Siberia, they used not only their real-life experience in a harsh environment, but also the paranoia and horror of John Carpenter's "The Thing" as inspiration for their co-op title, Distrust. We did our best to make it as far as possible, but, uh, let's just say none of us are "survival experts."
