I'm old. Old enough to never worry about having to take another exam. No longer do I have that anxiety dream of being stuck in a Sports Hall taking my Final Exam whilst being molested by the undead. Wait, that was no dream, but the synopsis for Mighty Rocket Studio's new 4 player download title due November 8th.
For those as old as I; you may remember a game called Obscure. Final Exam was originally set in this universe, but the cartoon visuals and OTT gore do not really fit in with a franchise that was about mood and scares. Reborn as Final Exam, the game is coming out across PC, XBLA and PSN during the week ending 8th Nov.
4 players will be able to play online together, or 2 player locally, to try and survive a zombie attack using only the school equipment (and perhaps a few rocket launchers that happen to be lying around). The latest trailer tells you all about the game and shows off some manic co-op action:
Brutal Joe, one of the four playable characters of the game, tells us about all the ingredients composing the explosive cocktail Final Exam. Alone or in cooperative mode (4 players online and 2 in local play), you will have to survive the attacks of packs of monsters trying to skin you alive, while trying to complete original and varied objectives throughout huge, non-linear levels.
