Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition's 'Plastic' Texture Pack Arrives Today

Outfit your worlds in plastic, and for a low price too!

Want a new look for your Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition worlds, but like the current ones you’ve got? Enter the very first Texture Pack, “Plastic”! Gamers are now able to alter the way many of the game’s textures look with more plastic-like visuals, and it goes for a cheap price!

4J Studios' brand new “Plastic” Texture Pack makes the Minecraft world look, well… more plastic-like! Much of the pixilated visuals the game is known for have been removed from many of the objects, giving things a more vibrant, smoother look. Sure, the grainier textures of the original look are more authentic, but this Texture Pack seems to add a more “retro” look to the worlds you build or have built. One minor thing to mention here is that all avatar skins (besides the default Steve skin) will not retain the “plastic” look of the pack, so keep that in mind. Get an overview look at the entire Texture Pack below for a more in-depth look (courtesy of Youtuber, TazReese):

Players may purchase the pack either through the in-game Minecraft Store or through the Xbox Live Marketplace for only $1. The “Plastic” Texture Pack is available today, along with Title Update 13 and the “Natural” Texture Pack to follow thereafter. Also, check out the gallery below for a closer look at what your world could look like with the pack!
