I hark back to the days when pirates used to say things like "Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum", rather than "I have just installed Malware on your PC." Ubisoft obviously feel the same as they are finally ready to smash that bottle of champagne against the hull of the olde worlde HMS Assassin's Creed IV:Black Flag.
The launch trailer is the usual Assassin's Creed shenanigans; more cinematography, than gameplay, but it does give you a feel of the world you will be visiting. As well as a comprehensive story campaign (which may bore you to death is Assassin's Creed 3 is anything to go by) there is an improved online 4 player co-op experience this time around.
The game is available on most current consoles from the 29th October, but the series will also make its next generation bow across Xbox One and PS4 on November 22nd:
