Atari has released a brand new batch of screenshots for the upcoming 4 player co-op Ghostbusters on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PS2. Visually this game is looking incredibly impressive, it's hard to believe this franchise is turning 25 this year.

The game looks fantastic lets hope the coop turns out really well, because if there was every a story to have an awesome coop experience with it would be Ghostbusters.

@Bio You do know you cannot play as any of the major characters, right?

You play as a new member of the team, but you interact with the others.

Alright people, you can't play as any of the main characters and I'm 99.9999999999% sure the new Ghostbuster is going to be male.

I just don't want any of you to give up false hopes of playing as the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man, Slimer, or the vile Satriani...

I didnt even know this game was gonna have any co-op/multiplayer at all. Now it sounds a bit more interesting.

Not for the campaign, but there will be (I hear) a Co-op mode outside of the story.

I'm thinking something with along the lines of Horde mode or a competitive who can catch the most ghost...

Dude im hoping the coop multiplayer will let you play as one of the Main guys... I mean come on you can't make a Ghostbusters game without allowing us to play as the cool guys from the movie .

Still Dibs on Egon even If I have to pretend... I am still going to be Egon.
