They say don't wish your life away, but with Evolve being postponed; both it and Dying Light are now out in February. 2015 cannot come fast enough for co-op gamers. Speaking of fast, you better have your running shoes on as the new trailer for Dying Light shows up to 4 co-op players are going to have to be fast to survive.
Gamescom in Germany is just around the corner and seeing as Techland are a European developer it is more than likely we will be learning more about the game soon. Until then, you will just have to appease yourself with reading Co-Optimus' hands on preview and the new trailer that highlights the 4 player co-op:
Dying Light is an action survival horror game presented in first-person perspective. The game is set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, you roam an urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, hunter becomes prey as the infected grow in strength and aggression - but even more lethal are the nocturnal, inhuman predators that leave their hives to feed. You will need to make use of all your skills and any available means to survive till dawn.
Dying Light is coming to most platforms this and last generation in February 2014.
