Two weeks in a row the crew decided to stream some Dawn of War 2: Retribution, specifically the game's co-op mode call The Last Stand. In the three player co-op mode, each player chooses a hero character and then takes on waves of enemies trying to earn points. Working together and doing well increases a multiplier earning points faster. Once the match ends, you'll earn XP based on performance and unlock items and abilities for that hero.
With twelve heroes to choose from, each vastly different than the others, there's a lot of replayability here. The matches are quick and fun and the strategy required to defeat each waves really becomes apparent rather quickly.
The Last Stand mode is actually available for a separate purchase if you don't want the core game, setting you back just $10 on Steam. I'd love to see more developers offer up stuff like this - it's perfect for a quick match.
