Saints Row 2 Crew is Ready to Go

Apparently the gaming gods have designated this week "Reveal Games and Release Dates Week." With Mercenaries 2 finally getting a release date and Tom Clancy's HAWX getting revealed, this week (in the normally slow month of April) has been eventful, to say the least. Now, Saints Row 2 is joining the parade. Joystiq has revealed that Saints Row 2 will be coming out on August 26. The game will feature the now-common feature: online/local co-op for the full single-player campaign. By the way, does Saints Row 2's release date sound familiar? Yup, that's only a few days before Mercenaries 2 comes out. August is shaping up to be a good month for co-op fans, and, as a famous home decorator/former convict has said, that's a good thing.
