You would never think that your best friend, your compatriot who has been with you through thick and thin, would suddenly turn on you and kill you; until they suddenly do. Perhaps their actions are not of their own design, however. Perhaps the terrible Mind Flayer has enthralled them. This is but one of the foes you will face in Sword Coast Legends next month.
I've never player a full on tabletop RPG but my interest in them has grown over the past few years. Went so far as to try and start a game with friends from across the country using Skype and a site to facilitate discussion/visualization, though schedules made it hard to maintain. So, having pored over my Players' Handbook and Monster Guide, I am looking forward to seeing these creatures in action.
