Army of Two DLC Incoming

Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo April 18th, 2008 at 1:48 PM

Good news for fans of Army of TwoEA has announced that the first set of downloadable content entitled "The Security and Strategy Corporation Challenge" will hit Xbox Live and PS3 next Thursday for the low price of $7.50.  The pack contains four maps and a series of obstacle courses, and upon completion, players will be invited to join the SSC.  What that means is anybodies guess, perhaps you'll be allowed to wear scary face masks in public.

"We want to support our fans with new content that delivers on the two-man gameplay but with a unique twist," said EA Montreal's Alain Tascan, adding, "The SSC Challenge gives players a chance to test their skills in a different setting while retaining the action packed co-op intensity that gamers have come to expect in Army of Two."

I want to know if these maps are only designed for online multiplayer or if they can be played "campaign" style.

Me too. Looks like from the descriptions I've read it's only the former, competitive play.

They already said that they would bring alot of DLC, since the original game had a very small amount of missions.

Another game that's getting DLC is Rainbow Six Vegas 2, at least, when I was looking around in the folders of the game (got it for PC) I saw an empty folder called DLC You know what that means boys ^^

I hope it is more like the campaign and not just more multiplayer maps. The online multiplayer had a good idea but just wasn't done very well IMO.

I hated Crackdown, not a lot of depth and just boring. No real obstacle.

I think the score is spot-on! The COD games really lend themselves to coop play, given they're all war-based. Sure, the coop f
I hate your Avatar, there is no monocle and no top hat! How can you do that!
I'd love to have that! Also, could you somehow implement the avatar in it? I like my avatar.
Unfortunately some developers consider it "co-op" if you can have more than one player that can play.
I'm thinking about getting a new set anyways. My mom complains about the noise. Maybe I'll open it up just to see...
