If you think you are going to have a problem finding a co-op partner for Resident Evil 5, think again.  Capcom has just announced that their 2 player co-op survival-horror-action-adventure game has shipped over 4 Million units worldwide.  This includes both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game

While shipped may not be sold, publishers usually try to meet the demand of titles when shipping their product.  This is excellent news for co-op fans, and bodes well for future cooperative titles.

The reviews so far have been mostly positive, including our own review of the game.  Proof positive that quantity and quality can co-exist.
