Co-Opticast Episode 15: We've got Family Values

Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo March 24th, 2009 at 1:58 PM

It's Episode 15 of the Co-Opticast, and we discuss the latest breaking Co-Op news. First up is Bioshock 2 - should it or shouldn't it have co-op.

We examine trailer #3 from the Behemoth to determine if this is the next Castle Crashers. Finally we top it all off with some Ghostbusters co-op info and a splash of the new Battle.Net.

Marc guests on the show to discuss the sites family oriented features and columns and Mike and Nick review Resident Evil 5.

All of that content packed into a 45 minute nugget of audio goodness.

Enjoyed the show. In particular looking forward to keeping an eye on the family friendly section, as my daughter will be getting old enough soon to start playing with me.

To Mikes question; Yes - nice wrap-up, closure, and meeting old characters!

Also, I am still not sure about the co-op in RE5...

I finally got around to downloading and listening to one of the co-opticasts. I liked it. Im not familiar with using itunes for podcasts too much. Is there a way for me to pick up old episodes? When I did a search, only this one came up.

After searching click the title of podcast, this should take you to a page that lists all previous episodes. From thre you can pick which ones to DL individually.

Glad you like it!

Hmmm, when I clicked on it, all I got was the most current one. I'll check it out again.

Edit- Got it. Thanks. I look forward to checking out some of the older ones. About how often do you do them?

I finally got around to listening to the 'cast. On the RE5 discussion, I agree that it's beyond beautiful. I've been playing it split-screen co-op, but then going back and replying most missions in single player to appreciate how good looking every level is.

You didn't answer my question cause it was about what system is more co-op friendly, not family friendly. Either way this is a decent podcast.

Boom Blox is a fun game, me any my step-dad had fun competing. Looking forward to co-op in Boom Blox 2.

Was someone acting like a cow at the end? Sounded like a wounded animal

I said we answer your question in Episode 16, not 15.

Methinks you still have catching up to do:

Ah okay, just re-listened to it. Sorry about that.

And still no comments on that wounded animal sound at the end

I hope this works with Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars. There's a lot of multiplayer goodness to have in it.
