Our Weekend In Gaming: Spoils Of War

Who knew plundering could be so fun?

The Steam Summer Sale is finally over, taking the war on our financial wellbeing with it.  Most of the Co-Opticrew managed to stave off complete destitution, but we were far from impervious to Steam's Digital Delights.  Luckily, we have a fantastic way to cope with our newfound dearth of cash:  playing (or simply admiring) all our new games!

So, what did we get?  Unfortunately... no one was very explicit with purchases, but I'm sure that'll work itself out over the course of a July that'll be pretty scarce on new releases.  For the time being, we'll be enjoying the viking apocalypse, card battling our enemies, and figuring out how the Steam Controller actually works.  Check it out!

Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "Diving into some BF1 and some misc games I snagged during the Steam summer sale."

Jason Love (@JLove55) - "Playing more God of War... boy..."

Mike Katsufrakis (@Pheriannath) - "Exploring my Steam Sale spoils."

Eric Murphy (@smurph_em) - "This will be a busy weekend but I hope to find a good game to try out the Steam Controller I bought. I might also convince the kiddos to play Portal Knights or some other game that is not Minecraft."

Tally Callahan - "A bit of Smite and Banner Saga 2 for me this weekend."

Enoch Starnes (@enochstarnes) - "I'll be Slaying a little more Spire and trying out a board game or two."

Matthew Squaire (@mattaghetti) - "I finished Oxenfree in my spare time over the week (thank you holiday work week!) So now moar Divinity Original Sin!"

Any good plans on your end?  How about Steam purchases you're currently pleased with?  Let us know in the comments.
