Activision Smashes Guitar Hero Greatest Hits Name

Activision has sent along word that the game formerly known as Guitar Hero Greatest Hits is now known as Guitar Hero Smash Hits.

Guitar Hero Smash Hits is set to release this June on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PlayStation 2. It will feature four player co-op, as in the full band, with rockers smashing their guitars and instruments to the top songs from the five previous Guitar Hero games, World Tour excluded.

We've attached the first few screenshots of the game in action, but really, there's no surprises here.

I'm looking forward to this considering most of the good songs where part of Guitar Hero II and to play them in full band will be awesome

Hopefully this will get a June Release in Europe unlike the recent Metallica game that is not coming till end of May here.
