You Can Now Whiff Your Rocket League Shots As Knight Rider

At least you'll look good doing it.

Rocket League is deep in the throes of its 80s throwback summer event, and the hits just keep coming.  Hot on the heels (or treads) of the Ghostbusters' Ecto-1 comes yet another nostalgic car to flail around with as you attempt one more ill-advised dunk.

KITT, the high-tech automobile driven by Michael Knight in Knight Rider is now available for your driving pleasure.  It may not give you David Hasselhoff's jawline or the original car's self-driving ability, but it does look pretty slick flying around Rocket League's multitude of arenas.  For $1.99, you'll not only snag KITT itself, but also the Gullwing Topper and KITT Wheels.  Just imagine the looks your friends will give as you fly toward the ball in one of the 80's hottest cars, and also directly past it and into the ceiling.  Those of us who are struggling to bring the image to mind will appreciate the new trailer, below.

Rocket League continue to chug along year after year, pumping out new events and content all the while.  It's not really known anymore for its four player online and local co-op, but it's a swell time with friends nonetheless.  The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
