Even though the Penny-Arcade Expo is over four months away, it's hard NOT to get excited for it already. To make things even more difficult, the show organizers have revealed some details on the event set to take place on September 4th through the 6th.
The show is currently set to showcase over 60 exhibitors including: The Behemoth, Bethesda, Bioware, Blizzard, Capcom, CCP Games, EA, Foundation 9, Microsoft, Mythic, Nintendo, NC Soft, Rockstar, Telltale, Turbine, Ubisoft, Valve, and WB Games. And don't worry, we'll have plenty of Co-Optimus staff there to cover the event this year.
Along with the ever popular gaming and geek related panels panels, attendees will have free access to musical performances from Freezepop, Jonathan Coulton, MC Frontalot, Anamanaguchi and, new for this year, Paul and Storm and Metroid Metal.
Of course the best part about PAX is the community, and we really hope we can meet some of you face to face at the show. If you've ever wanted to go to a three day gaming party, travel to some sort of geek Mecca, well PAX is for you!

They tour with Coulton, and they absolutely steal the show.
Glad to see Valve on the list of exhibitors this year (last year they went w/ EA for L4D) but now they're on their own apparently. Hopefully this means we'll hear about Ep3.
Anyway, yes I agree with Jackel. It's always better when the developers are the ones showcasing their work. It's preferable to the publisher.
But there are times when the devs need to do work and no PR.
I would be too. Its cool that they are taking co-optimus seriously enough to issue press passes to you guys.
