Get Left 4 Dead For Free...for 24 Hours

I'm not sure what's really that freaky about it, but Valve is going to allow gamers to experience Left 4 Dead on Friday, May 1st until Saturday, May 2nd for free.  The event will take place via their Steam service, and gamers are invited to preload now to maximize their four player co-op playtime. 

After the 24 hours is up, the game will return to it's $39.99 price point.   I predict many a dead zombie this Friday, perhaps a freakishly large number.  Oh wait - I get it now.

That's actually pretty cool, I have the game for 360 but in my belief FPS belong for PC, so i wanted to try it for PC and this is a perfect chance.

I've been wanting to pick this up for the PC, but my laptop was in the shop when the demo was available, so I never got to see how well it'd run. This will be a perfect opportunity.

I'd kinda like to try the user created maps on the PC version. May preload this.
