Fable 2 has been years in the making, but it's only recently that we started to get details of the game's cooperative mode. We know that the game will support another player in a drop in/drop out fashion on the same console. We know that this player can have an incredible effect on your game world - killing loved ones for example.
But there's also a lot we don't know. We don't know though is whether or not the game is going to have online co-op via Xbox Live. We don't know if/how the two players can interact. We don't know what affect a 2nd player is going to have on the story...if any.
So with that Mr. Peter Molyneaux let this little nugget slip in a recent presentation of the game this week. "There is another big surprise, a very big surprise about co-oping," he said, before adding that Fable 2 is a "Hell of a game."
I do like surprises.
I am hoping for something bigger, but I have no clue on what it could be.
Mr. Hideo calmed fans when they thought the translation of an interview he had stated he thought the game (MSG4) wasn't good.
In response, Mr. Hideo stated, he is modest and that in Japanese culture people aren't always saying their product is awesome or perfect. Later, he stated, he believes he made a good game.
Peter, though, needs a lesson in being modest.
