Toy Legendary Cars In Burnout Paradise: Big Surf Island (Free!)

Ladies and Gentleman, start your itty-bitty engines! Burnout Paradise: Big Surf Island DLC not only includes an all new, gigantic, stunt-loaded Island for you to explore, but some more cars to use, as well! A lot of us drooled over the Legendary Car Pack that was for sale to download at $8, with a boatload of shiny new cars for the game. Well, Big Surf Island gives us a miniaturized version of a few of those cars, in the Toy Legendary Car Pack that comes with your purchase of Big Surf Island at $13!

By completing new Big Surf Island specific challenges, the Toy versions of the Jansen 88 Special (Back to the Future), Cavalry Bootlegger (Dukes of Hazard), Manhattan Spirit (Ghostbusters) and GT Nighthawk (Knight Rider) will be unlocked in the game. Anyone who's played the Burnout Paradise games against someone with any of the Toy Cars knows those things are not to be underestimated, and for those who have been smoked by someone in the Ghostbusters car (Manhattan Spirit) your mouth should be watering by now.

What are you waiting for? Go Co-op with Legendary Toy Cars in Big Surf Island! I for one can't wait to see the tiny Toy Jansen 88 Special fly past the competition in a fiery celebration.

I'm probably going to get this at some point - anyone had a drive around it yet? Any good?

Yup! The Big Surf Island expansion is well worth the 1000 MS points for the new races, challenges, "Mega Jumps," and other events.

The Toy Knighthawk is the only Toy Legendary one worth using. It's invincible when you boost and handles the best of all the Toy vehicles. You get that one by beating all the Road Rules.

The '88 Special is kinda fun when you hover, but the Bootlegger is a huge flop. The Ecto 1 is cute but very useless in events.

Yeah, I bought the island on the release day. This game does not seem to be so popular on this website though... what a shame...

I got it the day it came out and I'm loving it.

A few years ago, a neighbor offered my wife a Super Nintendo with five games, all for $25, before it went into their garage sale
Hopefully folks had fun. Got quite a few matches in, but I'm signing off for the night.
