Ready, aim, co-op! Lost Planet 2 is taking co-op to new places in this sequel, starting from the ground up with co-op at its core. Lost Planet 2 will be mixing team based strategy with co-op specific classes and challenges, to keep the team working together. Gametrailers.com has the exclusive E3 interview that covers the basics of co-op for Lost Planet 2.
By listening to the community, the wishes of many co-op gamers were heard by the developers of Lost Planet 2. Not only was co-op added, but many co-op specific elements as well. Players will be able to transfer Harmonizer energy from one another for healing, as well as use different weapon classes to effectively clear out areas. Co-op is teamwork, and teamwork is more of a focus here than most other games.
Work together to take down much larger Akrid that had been dormant under the ice, now active and ready to squash you and your buddies. Environments will be extensive for exploring, perfect for those extra exploring challenges that co-op gamers crave. The developers are as excited about this one as we are, check out the trailer for more details!
