There was a lot of fuss last year when Left 4 Dead was released for the Xbox 360 and PC. So much so that rumors consistently flew around that a PS3 version was in the works. Yet, despite the strong rumors, the game never saw the blu-light of day.
With Left 4 Dead 2's announcement fresh in our minds, lets throw some more logs on the rumor fire. This time Joystiq points out the official Left 4 Dead 2 game page on EA.com (the game's retail publisher) lists a PlayStation 3 version as coming in Fall 2009. While this isn't an official confirmation, it's more official than what we had with the first title.
Update: And the merry-go-round continues. The listing has been updated, and the PS3 version is no longer listed.

So unless you have no other choice, I'd still suggest grabbing the 360 or PC version.
You know, I'm okay with that. Everyone always talks about how horrible TOB was on the PS3, but with the exception of team fortress 2, I think TOB was just fine. I'm still enjoying Half Life 2. Chipping away at the story little by little.
I think I've said it other places, but I would rather have a version of the game thats a little choppy or something than not have the option to play it at all.
Edit:
Well, I just looked at the page on EA's site, and the PS3 box has been removed. I was looking forward to getting it for the PS3, I hope it wasnt just an error on their part, and that they really do plan on releasing it.
Call of Duty World At War has plenty of zombie killing in it!
Fairly sure that released on PS3.
Although it's bundled with this awful WW2 shooter.
which had more content in it then the original game that this thread is directed towards, and since we're stating opinions, was awful as well.
