TMNT: Turtles in Time Comparison Video

The GameVideos crew took the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled for a spin through the wayback machine to see how it compared to it's arcade original.  The video shows the games running side by side with each other, which gives you an idea just how far this game has come.

One thing I noticed is the newer version seems to lack some of the "pop" in color the original had.  What differences do you notice?

the graphics are better

seriously though, i like how you can attack and be attacked from any direction (as opposed to only left and right). i thought this was just going to be a graphics overhaul but it seems like its quite a bit more. its looking nice.

btw... shame on them for playing single player for the video!

The damage indicator in the bottom left during the boss fight is a nice touch. I love the "throw the guy off the screen" transition between videos, too!

I originally came here to say that there was no arcade version of Turtles In Time but looks like I was completely mistaken. I had NO idea there was an original arcade machine! Ahhhhhhh you learn something new every day.

But man, looks REALLY nice. Can't wait to pick it up.

While I appreciate the new look, I prefer the original. The new version just isn't as vibrant.
