Left 4 Dead 2 Doubles Predorders, Plus Finale Footage

These four are tired of reading boycott signatures.
It appears the impossible has happened. The original Left 4 Dead dominated the news last year, but Left 4 Dead 2 seems to be getting even more coverage. Of course, not all of it has been good, as many petition writing fans can attest. The controversy doesn't appear to have altered gamers' anticipation, according to Eurogamer. Preorders for the game are at double the rate of the original at this point in time.
Want to see some of the reasons why zombie slayers are so excited about Left 4 Dead 2? We've got some excellent gameplay footage from CVG for you. New weapons are shown (to great effect), one of the new special infected, the Charger, turns up, and some gameplay tweaks are in evidence. (One example is the onscreen notification when a teammate is being shredded by a hunter.) The setting is an enormous bridge, full of all sorts of obstacles that the characters must cross in order to be rescued. No more hiding in a closet for this finale! One other thing: it's weird to see someone fighting zombies in broad daylight, isn't it?

That is also in the first one, but if you've played a lot you probably wouldn't notice it anymore.
Looks good btw, although it wasn't clear what had to be done in the end.
SOLD! er, PRE-SOLD!
Other than that, they were cool vids. I like the idea of running during the day (and having a wandering witch), but it lost a lot of the stressful fright that the night levels had.
DARN GAME COMPANIES AND THEIR SECRETS!
Then again, on the other side of that claim...Peter Molyneux...
He's not a bad guy, he just gets us excited for things that won't be.
