Punisher No Mercy Out Now on PSN, Features 2 Player Co-Op

Frank Castle is pissed.  You see, we somehow managed to miss the fact that Punisher: No Mercy was released last week for $10 on the PlayStation Network.  I tried to apologize to Frank, I didn't know the game supported a 2 player online cooperative mode.  He didn't care, so he shot me in the knee.

I begged and pleaded, I told him that I'd give his game a fair shot.  I said it was only just now that I heard about the game's famous villains, like Jigsaw.  I only just found out about it's comic book style violence and its wide array of weapons.

I told him that I'd be willing to help him out, willing to grab a gun and put on the skull and deal out some punishment.  He said  "Punisher fights alone, he needs no one. "

That doesn't sound very co-op to me.  Thankfully his game disagrees.

If you consider fighting a bunch of bots in team death match a campaign, then this has a campaign... I do not however, it is a cheap rip off of the unreal tournament game series. Good thing the game is only $10 so I did not feel I had wasted to much money on this POS.

Oh I agree, and we'll make sure it's known in our review coming next week. I hate when PR tells us one thing and it ends up being something different. I was really disappointed with this when I played it today.

The biggest problem is that its hard to co-op in an arena deathmatch-setting. You have to constantly be on the move in order to survive. Also, the enemies in the game are notorious for flanking you from behind, so if you try and stick together, its likely that both players will get killed.

You would think they would patch the USB port stuff.. Its just silly to have to unplug stuff that you usually just leave plugged
Yeah but I think it would still be cool!
Thanks for clearing that up! I probably won't buy it though.
