Gears of War Gets Price Drop and 2-Disk Edition

Blake "broodax" Corner June 02nd, 2008 at 2:08 PM

Everyone here at Co-Optimus loves a good discount, particularly when the discount involves a fun co-op game. Well, we are in luck, because Gears of War is getting a price drop. The Xbox 360 version of the game is dropping to $39.99, and the Windows version of the game is dropping to $29.99. However, that's not all. Gamerscore Blog, who were kind enough to officially reveal the the price drop, has released more information. In particular? A two-disk version of Gears of War. Press release after the break.

So says the Gamerscore Blog:

In addition, on June 24th, a special two disc version of Gears for the Xbox 360 (for the same $39.99 price) will be released containing:

Disc One

  • Gears of War (game disc)

Disc Two

  • Gears of War - Map Packs 1 & 2
  • Gears of War - Theme - 'Emergence Day'
  • Gears of War - Gamer Pics - 'Gears of War,' 'Emergence Day'
  • Gears of War 2 - Trailers - 'Duel,' 'Assault'
  • Gears of War 2 - Theme - 'Bare Your Teeth'
  • Gears of War 2 - Gamer Pics - 'Crimson Omen'

So, if you don't already have Gears of War, you have a few good reasons to pick up the game.
