If you and your buddy had a kickass score on Mission Four of Halo Wars's co-op campaign, you can kiss it goodbye. Perhaps it was the only proof that, yes, you can save Ship #3. Now it's forever lost thanks to a technical glitch between the game's servers and Xbox Live.
The official Halo Wars website has announced that the leaderboards have been reset to launch day, and they are unsure if the data is recoverable. The Xbox Live team is investigating, but it doesn't sound too hopeful. That third ship may never see flight again.

oh hell no... you'd have teenagers thinking the world is over and commit suicide and shit. the only thing worse than that would be if WoW accidentally deleted everyone's characters. or all the world's crack just disappearing. destroying or severly disrupting people's addictions in one swoop has scary results.
Still, you can't help but laugh
not that i expect 14 year olds to sue for lost scores but how the hell do you lose data like that? even my firm backs data up off-site and all that jazz and id like to think that they're a lot more professional than the mess im working for.
I know I didn't touch their computers, so it wasn't me!
They were probably using Windows Vista to store stuff. Ohhh, I went there.
should've used linux
