Saint's Row 2 Now Available On-Demand

Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo August 18th, 2009 at 10:37 AM

Microsoft has added the first batch of new titles to its Games on Demand service over Xbox Live.  Among them is Saint's Row 2, a two player co-op title we rather enjoyed last year.  The game costs a staggering 3000 , which translated into real world monies is $37.50.   Considering you can get the full retail game for $28 (shipping included) I'm not quite sure you want to hop on the On-Demand bandwagon just yet.

But, if price isn't a problem and you just want the downloaded convenience, hit this link to add it to your queue.

Update:  Oddly enough, now the link goes to Saint's Row 1, not 2.  Also the price has dropped from 3000 points to 2400 points or $30.  I swear it was there earlier.

The price is way to high and sadly think it will stay that way for some time before they realize they have to lower the prices for the On Demand games.

That makes the cost even less justified than it was in the first place!

Saints Row 1 is still co-op like GTAIV. It has co-op MP modes!

saints row 1 isnt co-op in any real sense.

Saints Row 2 on the other hand has days of co-op. I just picked up the expansion packs for two of my consoles so I can go back to the place that I put weeks and weeks into. One of the best co-op experiences I have had the honor of playing.

It does have co-op, it just doesn't have campaign co-op. Like I said it's like GTAIV's MP co-op modes. Or it's better to say that GTAIV's devs choose to copy Saints Row 1's co-op instead of expanding on the idea of co-op.

Way too pricey, better off going to the store to pick it up instead of spending extra money and waiting 3-4 hrs to download .

I got Saints Row 1 from GameStop for like $10. MS really needs to sell games and items based on VALUE & how old the game is. Items cannot and should not stay $10 when the game has been out for 3 years & the sequel is coming next month..

I never talk when I play online on COD. No one really says anything worth listening to, or no one talks whatsoever.
