Daft Punk comes to DJ Hero

At this rate, there's not going to be any incredible DJs left to put in the upcoming game DJ Hero.  Today Activision has announced that the legendary duo that is Daft Punk will be lending their talents and likeness to the game in the form of 11 original mixes.  

 In total DJ Hero will launch with over 100 songs, including 93 never before heard mixes.  What does Daft Punk bring to the table?  We've got the list and the latest screens. 

 

 

  • Daft Punk “Around the World” vs. Young MC “Bust A Move”
  • Daft Punk “Da Funk” vs. NASA “Strange Enough ft. Karen O, ODB and Fatlip”
  • Daft Punk “Da Funk” vs. Queen “Another One Bites the Dust”
  • Daft Punk “Robot Rock” vs. Hashim “Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)” – Produced and mixed by The Scratch Perverts
  • Daft Punk “Robot Rock” vs. Queen “We Will Rock You”
  • Daft Punk “Short Circuit” vs. Boogie Down Productions “Jack Of Spades”
  • Daft Punk “Technologic” vs. Gary Numan “Cars”

 DJ Hero launches next month with a unique 2 player co-op mode on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PlayStation 2.

"Around the world" is a good one, but I'm surprised they didint work "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" in there somehow. Thats probably my favorite daft punk song..

This just made DJ Hero so much cooler.

They are also providing the soundtrack to Tron Legacy (2010)!!
