Left 4 Dead Crash Course Coming Before Sep. 23?

Sure, we're excited about clown zombies in Left 4 Dead 2.  But what's a zombie killing fan supposed to do until November?  Play the upcoming "Crash Course" DLC for the original Left 4 Dead, that's what!

Previously, we'd heard only that the DLC would be released in September, but, thanks to a "Game with Fame" at Xbox.com, we now know that Crash Course is likely coming before the 23rd.  That's the date when the band Paramour will be playing Left 4 Dead with the rest of us anonymous zombie hunters.  The price for Crash Course is $7 for Xbox 360, and free for PC users.  I know I'll be picking this up upon release, which is looking like next week at the moment.

When this was first announced, there was talk of the DLC being forwards compatible with L4D2. Any word on if that is still the case? Sure would make it a LOT easier to justify the purchase!

No thanks, I'm not paying for this. I'll wait for feedback and even then I may just wait for it to be discounted.

... and with all the free campaigns online for PC users, I'll be passing on the xbox version and playing it on PC as well.

I'm a PC user, and I hope that we can mix infected, maps and survivors with L4D2. So I'm on Death Toll with Rochelle, and I'm shooting a Charger, while Louis yells PILLS HERE!!!

PC for me. Unless I see a ton of my friends playing it on the 360.

You could always run through it with us .

I usually get a pretty good group together, usually it is three of us for sure and I usually have a friend come in and join as our forth so it works out pretty well.

There have been a few times we have gotten a good group together for a private vs with random teams which is always a blast.

i'll definitely pick this up but its going to wait until we're ODST'ed out... which might not be until borderlands... and borderlands could easily swallow up all of next year.

I never talk when I play online on COD. No one really says anything worth listening to, or no one talks whatsoever.
