Microsoft's portal into everything Halo will launch on November 5th. The Xbox 360 channel will be home to exclusive content including podcasts, videos, screens, and events.
One interesting feature of it is said to be a persistent ranking and accomplishment system tied to the Halo games including Halo 3, ODST and presumably Reach when that launches next year. Waypoint will also host the Halo: Legends Anime series. For more info on Waypoint you can follow the team on Twitter.
You'll definitely want to keep an eye on this, we should hopefully have some great info regarding Waypoint and Co-Optimus in the near future!

Any word on if the channel can be disabled like the Welcome channel?
Will Halo Legends be free? Doubt it, but worth asking.
i'm pretty sure its opt-in... it can be turned on/off like the welcome channel.
i hate secrets when i'm on the wrong end of it. are you going to be telling us on nov 3rd with the launch of waypoint? that's a long way off
Subscribe as in opt-in, or subscribe as in spend money?
I think there's both. I think you have to subscribe to it as a Gold member and then there's a subscription for things like the Anime series, etc.
So nice...
