Our Weekend in Gaming - Prepare to Drop (Your Obligations) Edition

Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo September 25th, 2009 at 4:04 PM

If the Co-Optimus staff had an office together, I'm pretty sure it would be filled with the sounds of ODST marines shooting/grenading/rocketing/hammering Brutes and Grunts right about now. You see, we kind of dig it.

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "I plan on playing plenty of ODST Firefight after an epic Co-Op Night.  Also going to get ready for the hockey season with NHL10."

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I will attempt to work my way through Halo 3: ODST's campaign while fighting the urge to accept all of the Firefight requests I know will be incoming.  If things go well, I'll probably also join Nick in some NHL10, and play more Scribblenauts."

Marc "djinniman" Allie - "More Halo 3: ODST and Beatles Rock Band for me. Maybe even play as Cap's side in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2."

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "If I'm lucky enough to get to game this weekend, it'll likely be Halo 3: ODST campaign, or Overlord 2."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I'm in the Halo 3: ODST crowd -- I'll be playing the campaign to get some more character skins, and as much Firefight as I can fit in. I'll also be checking out the Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker PSP demo and Ion Assault on XBLA."

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "My weekend is actually going to be fairly busy so I may not have a chance to do much gaming. If I can work a little in between things, I'll likely be playing more Fallout 3 or Trine."

So, how about you? Will you be dropping this weekend?

I've been going on a hockey binge lately so it'll mainly be an NHL 10 weekend for me.

I might try and squeeze in some Castle Crashers as I just bought it yesterday. Finally if I can't get on the 360(tv being watched), I'll probably see about playing some DoW.

Depending on what my friends are up to, either MUA2 or ODST.

Sadly, yes. My copy of ODST arrives tomorrow, but I'm going to a friend's wedding tomorrow and won't get back until Sunday. So I'll be missing out on the ODST fun...

I have a nice three-day weekend this week thanks to the schools being closed Monday. My fiancee's family is all gone too, so it will be a nice, relaxing weekend with time for gaming. I'll be rocking through MUA2 for sure, and probably playing NHL 09. I also have the demos for Zombie and Lost Planet 2 downloading now, so I'll be checking out those as well.

I'll be in and out of ODST throughout the weekend. Working on finishing of Legendary, getting the Vidmaster ChallengeClassic and as much Firefight as I can fit in!

I'm pretty much absorbed in the Mount and Blade Warband beta at this point. Have and will be spending all of my gaming time on it this weekend.

A few years ago, a neighbor offered my wife a Super Nintendo with five games, all for $25, before it went into their garage sale
Hopefully folks had fun. Got quite a few matches in, but I'm signing off for the night.
Arcade, Gears, Halo, Rainbow 6 vegas 2. Sounds good to me. Though Virtuoso and I have some IP issues. my tags are below.

You would think they would patch the USB port stuff.. Its just silly to have to unplug stuff that you usually just leave plugged
Yeah but I think it would still be cool!
