I know we've talked quite a bit about a certain RPG coming out soon for the Xbox 360, but there's another one coming out this fall that features 2-player co-op... Fable 2.
IGN has a feature discussing some of the game's NPC you'll encounter, including a trio of seedy and evil fellas. It appears that Fable 2 is taking a clue from Oblivion in terms of how your intereactions with NPCs will shape the world. Basically the more you "trust" the certain characters, the more the characters trust you; and therefore that opens up additional quests and options of a certain nature.
Hit the above link for full details on just how deep the RPG experience will be when Fable 2 hits this fall for the Xbox 360 with 2-player co-op. I wonder what kind of effect your partner's relationships with the NPCs will have on your game?
Right on!! I can't WAIT. I really hope Fable 2 does online co-op.
RPG Co-op! Awesome! I'm a big offline co-op fan, so I'm glad we got that option announced first

The fact that you can still kill these NPC's in game to completely alter the game astonishes me. Sure, it would significantly reduce gameplay time, but just having the option available brings a lot of sense into an open ended game.
RPG co-ops? Finally! With the release of Too Human and Fable 2 coming up, I think developers are finally realizing the essence of co-op in every genre. Personally, any co-op in any game truly brings the gamescore up by at least one point. We'll see how the two releases hold up to the world, but this is definitely a step into deeper gameplay for future games.
