Steam offers Borderlands Co-Op Discount, TV Spot Teases Bazillions of Guns

Borderlands for the PC is a little further away than the 360 and PS3 versions of next week (OMG NEXT WEEK!), but that gives you plenty of time to organize a group of four people for this co-op deal Steam is offering.

You can pre-purchase a four pack of Borderlands for only $135, basically getting one copy of the game for free. In the end that comes down to $33.75 a person for some co-op gaming goodness. Yes please!

Of course if you are still on the fence for the game, perhaps the game's TV spot will sway you over the proverbial fence and into the Borderlands.

Doesn't PayPal need a credit card? I'll admit I haven't even been to the site, though. . . I'll take a glance at it later today, though I do know a friend in boot camp that did the 4-pack for L4D2 was looking at Borderlands. Perhaps I can convince him that our other two D&D buddies would want to play as well, and then get it that way if PayPal doesn't work out for me.

Managed to convince the boot camp friend to purchase it for me and some friends. And the one friend that was on the fence about the game seems to be becoming more and more excited for this -- he's at that point where he's jealous 360/PS3 players get it 6 days earlier. Heheh. Hooray for 4-pack deals to wrangle in your friends, and to waste away your social lives together.

I more mean the wider social life. Going out places, meeting up with other friends. . . I suppose I should have clarified that a bit. Lol. I've got no complaints on the social life of playing video games online all the time.
