Borderlands Watch a Video, Play with Devs, Win 4000 MS Points

With Borderlands out next week, it's time the promotions got kicked up a notch, and that's exactly what Microsoft and Gearbox have done.

First up is an oppurtunity to win 4000 Microsoft points by simply watching a video of Borderlands.  Easy enough, US Resident just need to download the "Choose your Hero" trailer from the marketplace and you're automatically entered to win one of 95 prizes of 4000 MS Points!

Next up is a play with the developers session on October 23rd on Xbox Live.  There's no prizes officially announced, but knowing some of the other team members, you might just get some phat loot!

I already had all the vids on xbox live downloaded. I like to watch them from time to time while I waits for the game. do I have to delete them and redownload, or will it still enter me since I downloaded them weeks ago?

Anyone else having this problem? I was trying it about 9 hours ago and was getting the same message, Still getting it now..

I managed to download it. I'm not sure what the problem is you're encountering. . . Maybe, without turning off the XBox, try signing out and back in? I really don't know what to say. D:

Shardik: I don't see any harm in re-downloading to be on the safe side. I'd try that.

And thank you guys for the heads-up about this. I know if I win some points, I'm totally saving them for DLC for Borderlands-- Okay, I lied. Rock Band would steal some too. but Borderlands will deserve at least half!

This game is pure awesomeness, played it from 6pm to 8am and I think im only about a tenth of the way. Best game i've played in a long time.

Have you noticed any options to filter gore or language? Also, seperate volume slider for speech?

I think the problem with the download was due to loads of people trying at the same time.

I did it yesterday and had no problems.
