Heavy-Hitting Sequels Rumored for 2010

Ah, the rumor mill is turning early today!

E4G quoted the Official PlayStation Magazine yesterday - specifically the "Secret Games" section - wherein it was deduced from several sources that three major sequels are being developed for a 2010 release.

First to bat was Killzone 3, supposedly "deep in development", according to an industry insider. Maybe this explains why co-op was twice considered as an add-on for Killzone 2, then dropped for good...we can only hope that the considerations have carried over to any new projects that may be in the works.

The other two titles rumored to be under way are Resistance 3 and a Call of Duty: World at War sequel, both with high possibilities for co-op. The former claim is supported by a prop billboard caught on the set of the movie Battle: Los Angeles, currently filming. The latter has significantly less credibility, thanks to an earlier report that the next Call of Duty title by Treyarch would feature the Vietnam conflict.

Killzone 2 co-op would have been such a wonderful feature, but instead it sits on my game shelf collecting dust because A) no co-op, and B) the MP wasn't really all that exciting for me. Here's hoping KZ3 will have campaign co-op.

I'm right there with you, Deeth. Killzone has gotten 15 hours from me, max - while now Uncharted 2 is already 20 thanks to its coop modes.

I am really looking forward to a Resistance 3 game. I loved the local co-op campaign for Resistance: Fall of Man, and really, REALLY loved the online co-op missions for Resistance 2. If Resistance can find a way to pop in a full online co-op campaign, it would be truly amazing.

Anywho, I love the Resistance series. I think I can say that the series as a whole (in regards to the setting/storyline) is a slight bit better than Uncharted, although Uncharted offers much more in-depth character development. Lets just say I really love a 1950s America over-run by mutated Russians...

A few years ago, a neighbor offered my wife a Super Nintendo with five games, all for $25, before it went into their garage sale
Hopefully folks had fun. Got quite a few matches in, but I'm signing off for the night.
Arcade, Gears, Halo, Rainbow 6 vegas 2. Sounds good to me. Though Virtuoso and I have some IP issues. my tags are below.

You would think they would patch the USB port stuff.. Its just silly to have to unplug stuff that you usually just leave plugged
Yeah but I think it would still be cool!
