It's the Final Countdown to LEGO Rock Band

LEGO Rock Band releases next week on multiple platforms, complete with blocky four player co-op goodness. The latest trailer for the game showcases four songs from the game: Counting Crows' "Accidentally in Love", Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name", Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'", and Europe's "Final Countdown."

I can't wait to play "Free Fallin" on a pirate ship. Or "Give Love a Bad Name" in a zoo. Seriously, these backdrops are hilarious. I hope I get to play "Kung Fu Fighting" on the moon!

I find it mildly disturbing that the most compelling reason for me to pick this up comes from Saint's Row 2.

I like the setlist for the most part, but. . . Gah. Why must games cost money? D: I'd have to wait until Christmas to get it. . . Hopefully, I'll remember it by then. . . I'd really like some of those songs in Rock Band 2.

And, yes, the little kid in me still giggles at the idea of LEGO people singing and playing instruments. So that's a plus.
