EVGA Releases a Video Card with Co-Op, Physics-Only GPU

While EVGA has had a CO-OP line of video cards for a while now, their latest edition to the dual GPU lineup is something a bit unique.  Instead of allowing SLI on a single card like most of the other co-op cards, the GTX 275 CO-OP uses a GTX 275 GPU for graphics and a GTS 250 GPU for PhysX support.  PhysX allows the GPU to do advance physics processing and effects.

The advantage of this in this case, is it allows EVGA to make a cheaper card with PhysX support, and not force people to get a much more expensive full dual GPU card.  Still at $350 it's no small chunk of change.  I vote they bundle in a solid co-op game with PhysX support like Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.

So would this be instead of using two graphics cards? Or is this just a beastly card that you'd connect to a second (probably) weaker one?

No, this card is two cards in one. So no need for a second.

Ah, that's cool. I am looking to build a PC in the coming months. This sounds like a good purchase.

so let's take a picture out of a game and slap it on the shell of the card that has absolutely nothing to do with co-op...

now if only pc games would support splitscreen co-op, i have 4 360 controllers and soon a pc receiver for all 4, most pc's are more powerful than consoles anyways, also i play on a 1680x1050 projector so consoles meager 600p just doesnt cut it

i have a blast playing games like trine and old emulated stuff split screen, i prefer pc for pretty much everything

I never talk when I play online on COD. No one really says anything worth listening to, or no one talks whatsoever.
Part of me wants to crop the second picture you took, and add text. Something simple, like "Oh geez. . ." It's got the perfect f
