Our Weekend in Gaming - Please Grant us a 36 Hour Day Edition

Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo November 20th, 2009 at 3:29 PM

At times like these we all wish for an extra 12 hours in the day.  Too many games to play, too many responsibilities to fulfill.

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "I have a lot I'd like to play, lets see what I accomplish.  Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age Origins, Modern Warfare 2, and Resident Evil 5 PC are all on my radar!"

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - "I'm planning to spend lots of time in Left 4 Dead 2.  Other than that, more Half Minute Hero!."

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I have a lot to play as well, but almost no time to do it in! Since I've got to work over the weekend, time will be scarce, but I'll spend as much time as I can in Left 4 Dead 2 so I can have my review ready for everyone to enjoy."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "What little game time I have will be spent on Clone Wars: Republic Heroes and Modern Warfare 2."

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "I'll be pushing to make time to play Prince of Persia and Borderlands - even if that means forgoing sleep for the weekend."

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "My weekend will likely see me splitting my time between slaying darkspawn in Dragon Age: Origins, and hitting zombies with frying pans (*ptong!*) in Left 4 Dead 2."

Loren "AgtFox" Halek - "Maybe play some New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but probably just take some time away after getting through and reviewing three games in under a week with over 40 hours of gameplay combined."

What are your gaming plans for this weekend?   Don't forget about our RE5 co-op night tonight!

I could really use some of those 36 hour days!!

Although, to be honest, I recently squandered away the only 25 hour day of the year by sleeping through the extra hour, so maybe I cant be trusted with 36 hour days??

Anyway, I think I might pick up the new super mario bros game and try playing it with my wife and mother in law a little bit. Probably wont have too much time to play, but would love to play some more borderlands or shadow complex this weekend. might also play a few rounds of peggle nights in between all the madness.

L4D2 and possibly Dragon Age but I doubt it. The urge to kill zombies is strong in this one.

Gonna be runnin' strong with Left 4 Dead 2 on both the 360 and PC this weekend. Friend gave the go ahead to play, so long as I don't spoil anything for him -- if we do, we get "a shotgun to the face". But believe me, I'd shoot myself first if I spoiled anything for him with this game.

Some more New Super Mario Bros as well, if Mom wants to play some more video games with me.

I'm not sure exactly what I'll be playing at any given time, but L4D2, Borderlands and MW2 as well as some kids games goin on since I'll have some extra time Thanksgiving week. We should have "cloudy with meatballs" game and watching the movie, neither of which I know anything about except food falls from the sky makes me hungrrrrrrrrrrrry

The miss' is gone tomorrow, so I be taking full advantage of the day and night to game it up. I have quite a few games to rock out to including Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010, Uncharted 2, and Assassin's Creed.

Will probably play some Beatles Rock Band with the miss' tonight and Sunday as well.

HUZZAH TO GAMING!!!

BORDERLANDS! Hopefully finish my first playthrough! I'm on "The Final Piece" but I'll probably do side quests as well.

Was hoping to join people for Borderlands on Friday, but since everyone seemed to have their own plans I played a no co-op Mass Effect.

Sadly, that may be the end of my Weekend of Gaming, until next time folks

I'm playing Dragon Age Origin in Nightmare difficulty, damn it's so hard! I always die and have not gone too far... Just wondering are there someone there playing in Nightmare gone far?

Jackel at 07:45 AM on 11.21.2009

I've been playing on Nightmare mode, and I've done the Circle of Magi, Redcliffe, The Urn Quest, and Orzamar.

Not having too many problems at all.

Also sad news on the gaming front. My hard drive is dying on the PC so until my new one gets here on monday, I'll be gaming on the 360. So probably some NHL 10 and rockband.

Addendum to my playlist I checked out Assassin's Creed II, and it's pretty awesome.
