Two Worlds II Coming Spring 2010

Two Worlds II - sequel to the eight-player online co-op original for PC and Xbox 360 - is being developed for a Spring 2010 release for Xbox 360, PC, and now Playstation 3.

It was originally announced for a 2009 release, but has since been delayed. A lot of co-op gamers were disappointed with the first Two Worlds; this time around, developer Reality Pump has promised a new engine and fresh gameplay. Game Informer posted the first few screenshots back in October.

I tried to play with the first one, but it was buggy as hell!!! And when it worked a bit, it crashed in 1 or 2 minutes... And I installed lots of patches, too!
Maybe I'll try it again someday...

Two Worlds 1 was a failed attempt at an oblivion clone or something and now they're making a sequel? Where did they get the money to do so?! o.o

I loved the single player in the first but the online was very poorly done, hope they can get the 2nd one polished up enough before release this time.

So this is an Oblivion clone, with co-op? Sounds awesome! I could never play the first game's demo for more than 2 minutes, so maybe with a new engine the game might actually be fun.

My sister told me they didn't even give you the option to play a female character. I barely tolerated this step back for women gamers with Dark Messiah.

It was a story about a brother trying to save his sister, I guess they could've went the fable route and let you switch them, but then I don't think it would've panned out the way it was written. It's almost like getting mad at God of War for not being able to play a chick. (Although the TV show Xena was better than Hercules by far )

The fact that you used the word chick, says a lot about where I am going to place your opinion. RPG's for the PC, generally allow for gender choice. They also showed females, but apparently it's only in multiplayer. Lastly, the game was released buggy and had poor technical merits.

What's that suppose to mean? If you're offended, it's not like I meant to do so, as forums are generally a means for anonymous posting, rarely do I look at names to see if they're male/female gender discernible.

And can you really name me an RPG that wasn't released buggy in the past few years? The RPGs we seek so desperately are becoming incredibly intricate. Looks at Oblivion when it was released. At least Two Worlds was playable where as Oblivion locked up and slowed down consoles dramatically.
