As of today, the demo for Too Human is available on Xbox Live. It weighs in at just over a gig. I had the chance to play through it this afternoon; the demo, unfortunately, has no co-op, just single player campaign mode. That was disappointing for sure, but the demo itself was impressive. There's a real God of War feel to it, in that you are hacking through hordes of enemies with crazy weapons. However, RPG elements like leveling up and gaining equipment add quite a bit of depth. The cut scenes were well done, though at times it was unclear when you were actually in control. The "cyberspace" wells are quite interesting, giving the game a feel a bit like Metroid Prime 2, where actions in one world effect the other. My final playtime was around 50 minutes or so. Now that you have my thoughts, why don't you tell us what you thought of the demo? Awesome? Boring? Let us know!
I honestly had my hopes down during the preview tests.
Fortunately, after playing through the demo three times, I kept looking and hoping for different sets of loot and managed to get a lot.
A lot of blues and level 7. It completely reminded me of my World of Warcraft experience, which I must say, was really enjoyable. Who knows if any changes will be made, but hopefully it can retain long-term appeal.
I just wish they released a co-op demo.
This demo kicks azz. Bigtime!
It's not a Coop demo, and that's a little shame, but this game ROCKS!!!
I can see that there's lot's of customizations, how you want to play the game, and stuff like that. It's an RPG game of course, but it plays like God of War, and the combat looks awesome. I played through the demo 7 or 8 times, and I will play through it several times tomorrow
The classes all need to be unlocked. I was able to get by some of the "locks," but they should have made more than one out and out playable.
That being said, the more I play it, the more I want the full game.
