1942: Joint Strike Low Score Contest

Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo August 22nd, 2008 at 11:32 AM

According to 1UP Capcom has a new contest for one of their recent co-op arcade titles, 1942: Joint Strike.  The premise of the contest is simple, score the lowest score possible in the game to win.  Ah, but not quite.  To win the first prize, players must video themselves playing through the entire game with the lowest score. For the second or third place prizes you'll have to snag the lowest scores only on the second mission.

So what do you win?  How about a swanky custom Leather Bomber Flight Jacket.  You'll also get download codes for Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 as well as a t-shirt.  Second place receives the shirt and the game codes, and Third just receives the game codes.  There are six second and six third place prizes available.

So now, I'm going to let you in on a little secret.  Call it Nick's super special guide to winning this contest.  It involves co-op...and it's simple.  Hook up with your buddy and let him shoot EVERYTHING while you simply avoid bad guys.  In no time flat you should be able to score a big fat 0 in the game.  You can thank me later.  Happy (lack-of) hunting.
