Halo Reach Launch Screens, Soundtrack Info, and a Real Flying Spartan

One day left.

Halo Reach launches tomorrow, or for those of you so inclined, tonight at midnight.  By now we hope you've read our review.  If you didn't, go ahead and read it, the rest of us will wait.

Back?  Good.  To further whet your appetite for Bungie's final Halo game we've posted almost two dozen new screens from the game's campaign and Firefight modes.

Like all Halo games, Martin O'Donnel has created an epic score for Halo Reach, one that's quite a bit different than the previous titles - yet still somewhat familiar.  Launching along side the game the soundtrack will be available to download on music service Sumthing Digital and iTunes.  Just an FYI - for those avoiding spoilers - you might want to not look at the track listing for the game.

If you prefer to purchase a actual physical copy of the Halo Reach soundtrack, Amazon will have that on the 28th.

Finally, for our friends in the UK, if you are heading to a launch event tonight - you may get a glimpse at a Spartan that has a real working jet pack.  As a promotion for the game, Microsoft UK has hired some "real life Spartans" to guard Traflagar Square.  Just make sure you bring some ear plugs, apparently jet packs are LOUD.
