Castle Crashers DLC On the Way, Patch Still Coming Too

If you read our Castle Crashers Review, and have been following the game's release, you know things haven't exactly been smooth. The good news is, they are working on a fix, but you already knew that. If you followed the game as closely as we did before launch, you may have noticed a few characters and weapons were missing. Where is the Chainsaw? What about the Necromancer? What about the King?
Believe it or not Castle Crashers was tested on Microsoft's PartnerNET, which is basically a small secure developer Xbox Live. During that time The Behemoth wanted to test some future DLC. Members of the press tend to have access to this network in order to have reviews and previews ready when a title launches, and in this case one of them got wind of some super awesome DLC. Long story short, that content is coming, but there are some priorities right now...like a patch.
Right now it appears that the folks at Behemoth seem to be waiting on Microsoft for the final go-ahead for the patch to fix the connectivity issues. Perhaps if they took a chainsaw to the MS office it would speed things up?
