Rock Band 2 Ships to Retail for Xbox 360

Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo September 10th, 2008 at 9:41 PM

You may have noticed an influx of Rock Band 2 news lately...there's good reason.   MTV Games, Electronic Arts and Harmonix have all announced that the Xbox 360 version of Rock Band 2 has shipped to retailers and should be available by Sunday, September 14th.

Not only can you rock out with a brand new game, but you can power slide your way across the living room with the brand new wireless guitar ($69.99).  Strummin not your thing?  Then avoid turning into a small green globule by drumming away on the wireless drum kit ($89.99).  Both will be available on the 14th as well.  All of this will be just in time for our Rock Band 2 Co-Op Night on the 18th.  Will you be joining the festivities?

I really want that new guitar, but after having several, yes several; wireless guitars with wonky tilt switches, I will wait until reviews of the new guitar are out before buying one.

Can't wait! And it's out once I'm paid, so that's perfect (even though I'll only have one day to play it next week).

Sucks to be you TZ. Then again, I know what you're doing the rest of the week so it's a nice trade honestly.
