New Video and Screens for EDF: Insect Armageddon

Are you excited about Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon?  Why not?  You must have not played EDF 2017.  It was crammed full of giant insects, giant robots, and buildings that collapsed if you so much as looked at them cross-eyed.  You could play the whole game with a partner in local co-op via split screen.  The last game had 50 levels and five difficulty settings. The only guaranteed way to unlock all 150 guns was to beat every level on every difficulty.  True, not all the guns were that great, but they can't all be Genocide Guns.

The sequel, EDF: IA will release this spring, and it will support online co-op as well as couch co-op.   EDF: IA will have 300 guns, and we have a video featuring the Pesticide Gun, along with some other great screen shots.  Is it just me, or does this game look a lot better than it should?  The last game was known for having pretty bland graphics.  That was part of the charm. No one will mistake this game for being powered by the Unreal engine, but it is looking pretty sharp.  Check out the video and let us know what you think.  And yes, it appears that the buildings will be dropping like they're made of cardboard, which is great.  Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, will be out this spring on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
