Co-Op Release Alert: LEGO Batman and Duke Nukem 3D

Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo September 21st, 2008 at 9:45 AM

This week you'll need to make a tough decision, or perhaps if you are rich, and easy one.  LEGO Batman hits just about every platform known to man.  Every single version supports 2 player co-op (local only) but all in drop in/drop-out fashion.  Score!

Sandwiched between all the Bats and Robins is a gun slinging, ass kicking, gum chewing dude named Duke Nukem.  The classic 3D title returns to Xbox Live Arcade this week with full 8 player co-op support online, and the added ability to save replies and rewind gameplay.

This should be a solid week overall.  Anyone picking either of these up?

Definitely grabbing Duke3D, but I'll pass on Lego Batman. No online coop is a deal breaker for me.

I'm interested in some co-op gaming, but so far I've only played it on normal and have not managed to finish any campaign online
Sorry to hear that, at least you won't have to pay for another one.

This site is so awesome. Im glad to be able to help reach that 2500 goal! I will definitely be telling friends about it.
More games should definitely incorporate co-op. Its not always enough to run around and shoot up teams or compete in a free-for-
