The G3 Tour Gives Gamers a Chance to Play Gears of War 2 Early

Gears of War 2 really needs no introduction. The original Gears was a megaton bomb, so multiply that by two (million) for the sequel. Likely, if you are a Gears fan, you cannot wait to play Gears 2. Fortunately, you just might get a chance to play the game early. According to the Gamerscore blog, Best Buy is sponsoring the Best Buy G3 Tour (the three "Gs" are Games, Gear and Gadgets, FYI), which will go on a six week tour of twenty colleges. The tour will be open to the public and will feature a variety of games to play. The games featured include co-op friendly games like Saints Row 2, Rock Band 2, and Halo 3, as well as Gears of War 2.
The tour is set to start this coming Monday, September 29th, and will go across the US, from California to Michigan and beyond. College students (and those living near a major college) should hit the official tour site to find out if their college is one of the stops. So, if you live near one of the stops on the tour, would you kindly play Gears 2 and tell us what you think?
