D3 Publisher has just sent along more than a dozen of new screens of the co-op friendly and bug unfriendly Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. Showcasing the game's impressive visuals, especially considering its predecessor, EDF: IA should continue to be a fun romp for co-op gamers on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 when it releases on July 3rd. The game features online three player campaign co-op as well as a six player online co-op survival mode. Both modes support two players locally.
We hope to go hands on with the game at E3 in a few weeks - expecting some nice upgrades off the PAX East version we played a few months ago.
