Monster Hunter 3 for Wii Trailer - Off Screen

Despite selling quite well in the United States and Europe, the Monster Hunter series seems to avoid mainstream exposure whenever possible. I've always been curious about the games, but have never brought myself to even rent any of the games, because I just can't decide if Capcom is proud of their product...or trying to hide it.
Okay, I'll admit it: I'm no good at sarcasm. I'm actually just thrifty.
Nevertheless, Capcom is still stalling from bringing you the official trailer for Monster Hunter 3 for the Nintendo Wii. Thankfully, a spectator at the pre-Tokyo-Game-Show Nintendo conference has nabbed it in its entirety, albeit at low quality.
See the embedded video after the break.
The previous titles had 4-player online co-op, except for the PSP...it had 4-player co-op over ad-hoc only.
This will be long
When I got my PS2, I was looking for good games to be played in Multiplayer. I came across the title: Monster Hunter. Alright... let's see a video from it on YouTube.
I've seen the video, and there were guys and girls with huge (I mean HUGE) swords, lances and stuff killing large monsters. I thought: "Nah... this is a Japanese game, manga styled and stuff... it couldn't be bad" (Mind you I love manga, anime and stuff)
Then I realised that YOU have to create your own armor and weapons. Now that made me try the game, because I love crafting stuff (in real life or in games).
I tried it, and the first mission was to get some raw meat. It was so cool I could repeat it for like half an hour over and over again (the quest is like 1 minute long ), but I was curious. I went on to the next quest, and it was like: "Now we're going to burn the meat"
I was shocked, and couldn't stop playing. It's a very awesome game, everyone gets sucked into it's world and never going to get out (see my Avatar here )
Then I tried playing Online... It's the CORE element of the game, it MUST be played Online with 3 other hunters by your side. This is a very complicated and hard game, but I love it!!!
YOU MUST TRY IT OUT!!!
Btw... if you have a PSP (because the PS2 Online was shut down), you could get a WiFi Max and XLink Kai, and you could play with me online
XLink Kai is a boon for PSP users.
Kai only supports games that can be played locally (LAN, System Link or Ad-Hoc), it would be good if some games on the PS2 (Resident Evil OutBreak series and Monster Hunter series) could be played in LAN...
And as always, that's why I'm happy when I see that a game has LAN play It will never die, even when the online portion will shut down
I'm in the same boat. LAN play (and system link for Xbox) ensures multiplayer forever, pretty much.
What I'd like to see more of is the third-party dedicated server programs, ala Tribes Aerial Assault and Star Wars Battlefront I and II for PS2...

So what kind of co-op does this have?
